Gift Card Fund Raiser -- Gift Card Order Form for 2008-2009

The Summit Parents Association (SPA) is excited to launch our third year of the Gift Card Sale as our fundraiser! We love the concept of this fundraiser because you get what you pay for. You purchase a Gift Card for $20 and you receive a Gift Card with a value of $20. The vendor gives the SPA a percentage of the sale. It’s that easy!! The attached form lists local and national retailers who participate in the program. The denomination offered is listed next to their name along with the percentage they give to the SPA.

The SPA is no longer a dues paying organization. All parents are considered members. Now more than ever, we need your support of our fundraiser so that we are able to fund all of our activities and events throughout the year. We also support each grade with a gift of $500 to spend on something for the students, whether it’s pizza for their class party, or treats for special occasions. We need your help so that we can continue to support each class.

There are many ways to use the gift cards. Of course, they make wonderful gifts…teens, tweens and adults all love to receive Gift Cards so they can choose their own gift without returning something that wasn’t quite what they wanted. Birthdays, Holidays, Graduation, Off to College, Thank You, Thinking of You…there are a myriad of occasions to give Gift Cards. You can purchase a gas card to give to your teenager or student who’s off to college! Who says there’s no free lunch? Give someone a Panera or Chipotle Gift Card and treat them to lunch!

Another great way to support the SPA is to use the Gift Cards to do your own shopping. Going to Macy’s or Dillard’s…pick up a gift card to pay for your purchase. Pick up your dry cleaning with a gift card. Birthday Party?…purchase an Opera Cream cake from the BonBonerie and use their gift card. Planning a vacation to Disney World, purchase some gift cards to spend in the park! Going out to dinner…choose from the large list of restaurants that participate. If you don’t feel like going out, have pizza delivered…call Donato’s and use the gift card to pay the delivery driver…it works! Take the children to the Newport Aquarium and enjoy a cone from Coldstone Creamery…both gift cards are available from our program. If you peruse through the form, we’re sure you will find many of the retailers that you frequent are listed.

The easiest way to help is to purchase a Kroger Gift Card…everyone has to buy groceries! Simply purchase the card and present it to the cashier at the check out. KEEP THE CARD and reload it each time you shop…the SPA continues to reap the rewards as long as you keep the original card. The strip identifies the SPA as the organization that receives the reward dollars.

If you place your order by Thursday and it will be ready for pick up the following Friday. If you would like for us to send your order home with your child, simply fill out the authorization form so we have it on file. We CAN NOT send orders home without the authorization form.

We also keep a small stock of the most popular retail/restaurant cards in the Spirit Shop and you may stop in and purchase a card off of the rack without waiting for the order to be delivered! The Spirit Shop is open Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
