Summit Wins MVC Six Titles

For the first time in Summit history the Cross Country teams swept the MVC Championships this past Tuesday at Voice of America Park.  The girls won with Emily Hogya finishing 3rd overall, with a time of 20:34, which is a new school record.  Colin Cotton was the meet medalist with a time of 16:46 and was named MVC Runner of the Year for the third year in a row.

 

In addition, Summit celebrates other MVC titles this fall.  The Girls’ Tennis team tied with CHCA for a Co-MVC Championship.  The Girls’ Soccer Team won the Championship last week after their win over CHCA.  Their overall record is 12-2-3.

 

In addition to our Varsity Championships, the Middle School Boys’ Cross Country team won their first MVC title and the Middle School Golf team won the MVC Golf Championship on Monday, October 12.
