Summit Swimmers Compete at Classic

Last weekend, January 17 and 18, Summit Country Day Swimmers participated in the Southwest Ohio Swimming and Diving Classic Meet.  With 112 schools and over 2,700 athletes participating, the Classic has been deemed the largest high school invitational in the country.  Out of 112 schools, Summit Country Day, with a roster of only 11, placed an amazing 18th overall, scoring well ahead of schools more than double in size.  Three swimmers emerged as finalists.  The swimmers who placed in finals were:

 

Brad Bedacht:         3rd in the 50 Fly

John Patterson        11th in the 50 Back

Bryan Bedacht         4th in the 200 IM

                            5th in the 400 IM

                            9th in the 200 Fly

                            10th in the 200 Breaststroke
