Food Festival kicks off International Event

Summit LS students enjoy some international treats at the Food Festival
A Food Festival kicks off today’s International Event, with cuisine from countries around the world. Daily events are planned to raise student awareness of the culture and history of Iran and Colombia. The Summit community is invited to a lecture at 9:30 a.m. Thursday by Colombian Sen. Juan Manuel Corzo in the Chapel, a fund-raising dinner Thursday featuring Sen. Corzo and Univision reporter Laura Sierra to benefit The Summit’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee, and an all-school Mass at 8:45 a.m. Friday in Flannery Gym. Organizer Adriana Richey requests reservations for the fund-raiser be made through www.midwestlatino.com.
