A Gift for Generations

The Summit Country Day School has earned a reputation as one of the nation’s outstanding independent Catholic schools. You can help us continue this tradition of excellence and ensure the school’s financial future through your donation to our endowment fund, which was recently renamed the Edward C. Tyrell Endowment Fund in honor of the leadership and stewardship of our former Head of School. Interest generated by the endowment supports four key areas of the school:

  • Financial aid and scholarships
  • Professional development for faculty and staff
  • Innovative academic programs, such as the Educating for Character program
  • Campus safety and beautification programs

There are several ways to support The Summit’s endowment.

Establish a Family Fund

You can make a difference in the future of The Summit by endowing a Family Fund. With a contribution as low as $2,500, you can establish a Family Fund that will benefit The Summit community both today and in years to come. You can add to your Family Fund over time, and watch as it grows to become part of the future success of The Summit. Family Funds can be established to honor an individual student, or a faculty or staff member who made a difference in your student’s Summit experience.

Join the Heritage Society

You can also make a gift to the endowment by remembering The Summit Country Day School in your will or estate plans. By doing so you will be automatically welcomed into the Heritage Society, joining numerous parents, alumni, and friends who have strengthened their legacy, as well as The Summit’s, by making a donation of this kind.
