Cultural studies and inclusiveness is a core tenet of the Montessori philosophy. The Summit is blessed to have families from many cultures that are willing to come in and do presentations about their culture and traditions.  In Montessori, we have developed cultural units and materials and we are always seeking more hands on materials for the children to experience. The hands on materials help the children internalize cultural concepts.
