Multicultural Festival

04/01/08

The Multicultural Festival is a three day celebration, (April 7th, 9th and 11th) which begins a month of educating our children about different cultures, by showing cultural differences, and similarities. This year we are featuring four countries from four different continents. They are: Egypt, Korea, Turkey and Peru. Last year we featured China, Colombia, Germany and Nigeria.

The Three main events are:
Monday - Dessert/Food Festival from 11-1 in the cafeterias.
Wednesday - Exhibits and performances of the four countries.
Friday - All-School Mass with a multicultural influence at 8:45 in Flannery gym.

If you have any questions, or would like to volunteer to help, please email Teri Comber. You may also visit the The Summit Multicultural Website for more information.
