2009 - 2010 Cheerleading

 

It is a very exciting year for Cheerleading at Summit Country Day.  After a very successful reintroduction to the community and fall season, we start winter with seasoned veterans and new faces.

 

Returning for the winter season are seniors Tess Akgunduz, Tori Dowling, Corinne Nelson and Captains Kelly Maier and Megan Peaslee.  Also returning are Junior Katie Thurner and Freshman Destiny Williams.

 

New to the squad are Seniors Amelia Carter, Pippi Dober and Anna Kirwan.  Sophomores Andrea Bacho, Caroline Schube and SK Wiser round out the team. 

 

With 13 varsity cheerleaders we have moved to a two squad format where each squad will cheer at half of the 2009-2010 Men’s Knight Varsity Basketball home and away games. So don’t be confused when you see different squads, we are just that popular! 

 

The ladies have worked hard, are improving with each game, and are building the legacy of a very successful program.
