Softball
The pride of the Summit softball program is in the traditions established by the many dedicated players that have contributed so much to their teams over the years. Summit softball encourages players to take an interest in their past, celebrate the present, and work for the future. The program emphasizes loyalty, teamwork, and sportsmanship. The experience of each player is meant to be a challenge that will foster personal growth by providing experiential learning through an athletic venue.
Since 1991 the program has been led by Head Coach Laura Haas. During this time the teams of The Summit have experienced much success with 4 conference championships, play in 7 sectional finals, and an appearance at the district tournament. Over the years we have proudly recognized 3 all-Ohio players, numerous Ohio scholar-athletes and SW Ohio district all-stars, and each year we celebrate several Miami Valley Conference all-league players.
The future of Summit softball provides the opportunity for young women to be part of the fine tradition of a competitive athletic program.
