Girls' Tennis 2011

The Season in Review:

The 2011 Summit Girls Tennis Team made great strides this year. Our goals centered around personal improvement, hard work, and having fun in the process. Every player learned, gained valuable match experience, contributed and improved a lot. Here are some of the girls’ accomplishments this year. GCTCA Doubles Team of The Year Elly Seltman and Tori Mahon, GCTCA 1st Team Doubles Tori Mahon/Elly Seltman, MVC All League 1st Team Doubles Elly Seltman/Tori Mahon, MVC 2nd Team Singles Colleen Whalen, MVC Honorable Mention Cheryl Fladung and Caroline Hertzel/Isabelle Earls.

Sectional Finalists Tori Mahon/Elly Seltman in Doubles and Colleen Whalen in singles. Sectional Semifinalist Cheryl Fladung, singles. District qualifiers were Tori/Elly, Colleen and Cheryl. Congratulations to Alex Bissantz and Esther Gault. They had some excellent wins and contributed very much to the success of our Team. Also, a special thanks to all Summit Tennis parents for providing snacks, transportation, and support for the Team. Also a special thanks to our School Head of School, Board, Athletic Director, and parents for our AWESOME NEW Courts, Windscreens, Scorecards! Our Tennis facility is one of Cincinnati’s Best!
