Girls' 2012 Varsity Lacrosse

Practice begins Monday, Feb. 27 3:45 – 5:30 on Williams Field. Girls should dress appropriately and bring stick, eyewear and mouth guards.

 

The Varsity Silver Knights are looking forward to another winning season, after finishing 13-5 last spring. After a close loss to would-be Division 2 state champion Columbus Academy in the Regional Semifinals last May, the team is looking to be one of the top teams in the state again. We are looking for leadership, motivation and maturity from our younger players after losing six seniors, including our entire starting defensive line. With a strong group of juniors and seniors led by captains Tori Mahon and Elly Seltman, the Silver Knights are looking to form a motivated, fresh and eager squad this spring. We are excited to welcome Tiffany Smith, a previous Division 1 player from the University of Cincinnati, to our Varsity coaching staff.

Erin Horn will take over as head coach for the JV team after having been the assistant for two years. Erin is looking forward to welcoming new players to the program and developing returning players to form a competitive and fun JV team again this year. The team will look to be one of the top Division 2 JV teams in the state, playing a competitive schedule.
