Summer Experientia - Summer School & Camp

Dear Summer School Families,

Welcome to Summer Experientia at The Summit Country Day School. Experientia means to test, trial or gain knowledge by experience. As we look forward to having a great summer experience with our four distinct summer programs, we remind ourselves that our learning and growing does not cease even though we are not in the traditional classroom. Our summer programming is now designed to provide a plethora of opportunities and experiences to broaden our learning, skills and fun.

This learning experience also does not stop at just the child, as we now have parent classes as part of our summer programming. The Summit’s mission is to educate the whole child and now Summer Experientia’s mission is to educate the whole family. The first section has Summer Camp aimed at serving the needs of children 3 years old to 5th grade with an all-day selection of summer camp activities. The second section is a new year-round Montessori program for current Summit families looking to extend their Montessori education through the summer months. The third section is Summer School which includes numerous and varying classes that cover all age groups and activities. The fourth section is a new parent program created to offer classes to our parents during the summer months. We look forward to creating one of the best summertime experiences for your entire family.
