Summer School & Camp

Dear Summer School Families,

Welcome to SUMMER EXPERIENTIA at The Summit Country Day School. Experientia means to test, trial or gain knowledge by experience. We look forward to having a great summer experience with our four distinct summer programs and remind ourselves that our learning and growing does not cease even though we are not in the traditional classroom. Our programming provides a wide range of opportunities and experiences to broaden learning and sharpen skills while being fun at the same time. We believe that we all are life-long learners and therefore parent classes are offered as part of our summer programming. The Summit’s mission is to educate the whole child and now Summer Experientia’s mission is to educate the whole family. The first section is the weekly themed traditional Summer Day Camp aimed at serving the needs of children 3 years old to 4th grade, with half-day and all-day selections. The second section is a Summer Montessori program designed to serve current Summit families and a limited number of children who attend different Montessori programs who are looking to extend their Montessori education through the summer months (pre-acceptance interview required). The third section is Summer School which includes numerous classes that cover all age groups and activities. The fourth section is an Adult Program created to offer classes to our parents during the summer months. We look forward to creating one of the best summertime experiences for your entire family. NEW THIS YEAR IS THE OPTION TO REGISTER AND PAY ON-LINE VIA THE SUMMIT WEB SITE. We look forward to seeing you on campus this summer for one or many of our summer program offerings.
