High School Placement Test Prep Course - Grade 8
Every November the HSPT is given to thousands of 8th grade students applying for admission into High School. Most students do not properly prepare for the test even though the exam affects the admission process and scholarship opportunities for some area schools. This preparation course will focus on test-taking strategies and content area instruction. Students will have some work to prepare in between the scheduled class times. All instructional sessions will be held in a middle school classroom under the direction and supervision of Middle School Guidance Counselor Michael Fee and other teaching specialists in the area of Math and Language Arts.
