ATHLETICS

Administrative Assistant to the Director of Athletics

This individual will assist the Director of Athletics, Assistant Director of Athletics and all sports coaches to perform their duties effectively by rendering prompt and courteous service to the various individuals who seek assistance in the office. Responsible for supporting the operations of the department and sports through the preparation of materials, maintenance of schedules, organization of regular and special events, and other services. Contributes positively to morale; maintains a positive, pleasant demeanor to all constituencies; provides positive encouragement to students. Candidates must have a high school education and a minimum of 5 years office experience. Must have excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office, be accurate in math and data entry skills while being able to establish priorities and work independently. Good verbal and written communication skills, able to deal with people and ability to maintain and respect confidentiality. Girls Varsity and JV Field Hockey Head and Assistant Coach

Prior playing and coaching experience at the high school or college level is preferred.

Athletic Trainer - Full Time

Certified Athletic Trainer licensed in the State of Ohio. Previous school experience preferred.

Girls Middle School Volleyball

Prior playing experience and knowledge of the game required.

Bus Drivers

Full time /part time/day and evening bus driver(s) needed during the summer and academic year driving a new 48 passenger transit style bus. Ideal candidates will already have CDL with bus driver endorsement. Free training for those who qualify and do not have CDL. Dietary
Part time position and substitutes needed

School Nurse

Seeking a part time (approximately 20 hrs. per week) school nurse. This is a job share position. Applicants must enjoy working with students from preschool through grade 12; possess a BSN, RN, have a state registered professional nursing license and American Heart Certification.

The Summit Country Day School offers a highly competitive benefit and salary package for all positions. Eligible dependents of Summit Faculty receive tuition remission. Candidates must pass a TB Test; Criminal Background Check and complete the Decree on Child Protection Program. Qualifications preferred for teaching at The Summit Country Day School include: BA required, MA and classroom experience in desired discipline preferred, ability to successfully work with a wide range of students and be comfortable collaborating and working in a collegial team environment. Willingness to coach athletic teams or assist in other extracurricular activities is highly valued.
